Howdy folks I'm Capt. Allen Farge. I have grown up fishing here in the Galveston
Bay - Freeport area my whole life. I had always known that I wanted to be a fishing guide since I was
10 years old. My boat is a 24' Dargel Skout with a 225 Evenrude. It is big enough to handle trips of up
to 4 people. We primarily fish anywhere in between Galveston and Surfside (Freeport) depending on where the fish are
being caught. Although in October and November I only fish in Matagorda. The fish we are after are Speckled
Trout, Red Drum, and Flounder.
Trips cost $200 for a full day up to 3 people. If a 4th or even 5th person wants
to come it's $50 extra for each additional passenger. When you arrive the boat is already full of gas, sodas, water,
and live bait (if requested). You will need to bring a snack or lunch, sun block, fishing poles, sunglasses, hat,
and an ice chest to bring your catch home in. You also need to have a Texas fishing license, and a saltwater stamp,
which you can get wherever you get the license.
